In 1957, a group of European intellectuals formed an international organization in Paris which they called the Situationist International. The main goal of the SI was to destroy all forms of ideology and culture so that humanity could be free from exploitation and oppression. This would be accomplished by creating situations, where the idea of a commodity is replaced by a situation. The meaning is that in a situation you have to do things in your life that will benefit everyone.
